It’s that time of the year again, Fringe season! With an abundance of events to choose from and so many categories it can be overwhelming picking which shows to attend – luckily, we’ve tracked down the best dining shows the Fringe has on offer this year. With a mixture of theatre, live events, degustation’s and sensory experiments, check out our favourites below.
Beer V Wine Degustation Dinner
Barossa Valley Brewing
Beer or wine? It’s the world’s hardest question. In this five course degustation, each course will be matched with both beverages in an attempt to choose the preferred drink of choice. This interactive dinner will involve both brewer and winemaker taking you through each of their drinks, battling it out to win over the publics vote.
Post Dining Bite Sized
Not your average dinner with friends. The concept of Post Dining involves using all your senses to bring you closer with friends, family and strangers and rethink the traditional methods of dining. In this year’s new show ‘Bite Sized’, you’ll experience native flavours paired with native sounds as the staff guide you through your meal – picture food served right in the palm of your hand. This is experimental dining at its finest.
Murder in the Wine Cellar
National Wine Centre
It’s Cluedo come to life! In this three hour show held at the National Wine Centre, you’ll enjoy a three course meal while you solve a murder mystery that’s just taken place in the venue! Dress up as part of a ‘wedding reception’ and help the wedding planner solve the case before the police arrive.
Waymouth Street Party
On Friday March 9, watch Adelaide’s West End come to life as Waymouth Street businesses open their doors onto the street for a party like no other! Tuck in to delicious street food from unlikely vendors, such as George’s on Waymouth, Press* Food & Wine and Melt. Sip on cocktails from The Gallery, Electra House Hotel and many more. There will be performances, music and entertainment throughout the night.
